Review | Maybelline Master Sculpt

Maybelline's Master Sculpt is something I've been so excited about as soon as I saw it. If you've read my previous Cream Contouring post, you'll have some idea that I love a strong contour and highlight. So when purchasing the Master Sculpt, I decided to get the shade in Medium to Dark, I felt the lighter shade was a much warmer contour colour and really - you should be looking at a grey under toned contour.
The packaging contains the pan with the contour and highlight, and flipping it up will mask the mirror with a little brush. It's cute, although a) I don't think I'll ever use the brush and b) it's kinda annoying that the mirror is under the pan, so if you want to use, it you have to keep flipping it up and down.

However, I love the colour on me and I'm really glad I got the dark version because the contour colour does swatch a tad orangey. Apart from this the formula is so easy and blendable, I actually find it more flattering for a contour than my Benefit Hoola Bronzer and I'd never though I'd ever say that.

The highlighting powder is lovely and stubble however it does contain some shimmer. I personally like a heavy highlight so I tend to use this compact more for the contour. I do experience some fall out from the highlight unlike the contour colour but this doesn't bother me too much.

In conclusion, I'm impressed with this little compact and would recommend it to anyone that's like me - can't leave the house without at least a little contouring - or someone that's looking for any easy and travel friendly contouring made easy kit!

Have you used the Master Sculpt? What do you use to contour and how often do you tend to contour?
